We, the students of Whitman College, have taken over Memorial Hall as our space. This is ongoing and indefinite until the Whitman Administration meet our demands. This is OUR space, come and hangout or spend the night!
Evenings starting this Friday, November 10th, we are hosting a town hall in the Edward Said reading room (upstairs in mem). This is open to all students, come and collaborate.
11:00am Gather at library and march around campus: we hold power in numbers
3:00pm Art and music jam sesh: bring an instrument, come and hangout @ Memorial Hall
8:00pm Town Hall style meeting @ Mem: come to the Edward Said Reading Room upstairs
9:30/10:00am Tabling outside of Cleveland and Memorial- come talk to a Whittie, pick up reading materials, donate, and ask questions about divestment (+ sign our petition!)
11:00am Phone bank at Mem
6:00pm Trivia Night- Walla Walla, Whitman, and Social Movement/Protest-focused trivia! Come learn and test your knowledge
8:00pm Reading group at Mem- materials will be provided
10:00pm Town Hall style meeting in the Edward Said Reading Room
9:30am Join us outside Memorial Hall to greet President Sarah Bolton
10:00am Representatives from SAC and SJP meet with Sarah Bolton to call for the Emergency Board Meeting
1:00pm Students for Justice for Palestine meeting in the Edward Said Reading Room
