- Scales are to be played as written for each grade level.
- Concert G scale will NOT be auditioned at the middle school level.
- Students will receive no extra credit for playing beyond the ranges written for each respective instruments.
- Consideration for speed, tone, and accuracy will be used when scoring scales.
- Scales do not have to be memorized. Students may use their own.
- Please move through auditions as quickly as possible without making the student feel rushed. We only have about a 9am-1pm window to finish auditions each day.
