Adobe Spark is a mobile and web-based application that allows access to three separate digital storytelling design tools. Spark contains three tools: Page, Post, and Video. The application is free and extremely user friendly, making it the ideal tool for both teachers and students.

Where in the World Field Trip

Students choose destinations and build virtual field trips for their viewers. This innovative practice builds students' capacities in social studies, writing, and listening and speaking. It also builds their competencies to creatively communicate, demonstrate digital fluency, collaborate with their peers, and practice digital ettiquette. Each week, on our classroom Youtube channel, we broadcast our family update from one of these locations, so families can participate in the experience.

Fun With Forms: Expanding Your Google Form-ation~

Looking for a way to take that old test, quick check-in, or exit ticket from paper and pen to #awesome? This interactive Google Forms session led by teachers from Emmaus High School will emphasize the importance of learning while doing. In addition to tips and tricks, we hope to challenge you to try some of the more advanced features of this powerful assessment tool while writing test questions that can’t just be found via Google searches.
Through this session, we hope Forms can provide you necessary information about your students and expand your assessment practices.

Obtaining a Better Understanding of Science Through the Use of Technology~

Technology has become the foundation of society and now is infused into our educational system. Students today expect the use of technology in their classes in addition to traditional lecture techniques. This talk will focus on the use of technology in a science classroom. Examples from Biology, Anatomy/Physiology, and Forensic Science classes will be shown. In addition, administered summative and formative assessments will be presented to help the audience see how the use of technology translates into testing material.
