Little Wandle - Children follow the Little Wandle formation phrases in order to form letters correctly.
Below is a list of the phoneme, formation phrases to support. This is done as part of the reception phonics lesson for Reception children.

In Years 2 - 4, children are taught to write cursively using the MSL Handwriting Rescue Scheme. This contains a series of structured exercises focusing on correct letter formation and correctly linking letters together. Similar letters are practised in family groups and then all letter formations are combined so as to develop an automatic response to regular word patterns.
