Data Breach Management Procedure

A personal data breach is a security incident that leads to the accidental or unlawful loss, alteration, destruction, or disclosure of personal data.

Staff Procedure (What to Do Immediately)

If you suspect a data breach, report the incident to Jill Wright or Marie Beale immediately. They will send the information to the DPO. Do NOT wait.

Investigation and Reporting

If the breach poses a risk to individuals' rights and freedoms, we must report it to the ICO within 72 hours of becoming aware of it.
