As part of our Science lessons, 4th class explored three different types of bridge designs, learning about how each structure is built and what makes them strong and stable. The children examined how weight is supported and how different shapes and materials can affect a bridge’s strength.
After investigating these designs, the class worked together to plan and create their own bridge ideas. There was great teamwork, creativity and problem-solving on display as pupils shared their thoughts and tested their designs.
It was fantastic to see such enthusiasm and innovation as the children took on the challenge of becoming young engineers!
