On Friday 10th October, 4th Class took a trip to St. Enda’s Park, where we set out to explore the many interesting follies dotted around the park. Before our visit, as part of their Local History study, the pupils carried out an in-depth study of each folly, so they were well prepared to act as tour guides on the day! Using their knowledge, they confidently shared fascinating facts and stories about these unique structures. Ms. Johnson (SNA) and Miss Stewart-Miller (Student Teacher) joined us on our outing and thoroughly enjoyed learning all about the local history alongside the class.
