I am excited to begin my 19th year in education! Throughout my teaching career, I have enjoyed helping students learn, grow, and discover what they are capable of achieving. As a STEM teacher, I especially love creating opportunities for students to explore, problem-solve, think creatively, and learn through hands-on experiences.
I believe learning should be meaningful, engaging, and fun, and I strive to bring a cheerful and positive energy to the classroom each day. One of my favorite parts of teaching is building relationships with my students and encouraging them to challenge themselves and enjoy the learning process.
Outside of school, I love spending time with my family and being outdoors. Gardening is one of my favorite ways to spend my free time, and I’m happiest when I can enjoy a little sunshine, get my hands dirty, and watch something grow!
