Coach Davis is a native of Clewiston, Florida.  He has been teaching and coaching for 26 years.  He taught for 13 years in Florida and has been teaching in Georgia for the past 13 years.  Some career highlights include having coached more than a dozen professional athletes when they were in high school (NFL, MLB and WNBA), 60 Division I players in multiple sports, being a part of 3 state championship football teams as an assistant coach, coaching in 6 state championship football games, and having had the opportunity to be a Head Coach in three different sports (Football, Competitive Weightlifting and Track & Field) for a combined 11 years.  In addition, Coach has been a Strength and Conditioning Coordinator for 17 years.  He attended the University of Central Florida, where he earned his BA and Mississippi State where he earned his Master's in Physical Education / Sport Administration.

Coach enjoys reading, playing golf, working out, riding his bike, writing, training quarterbacks, riding horses, watching his kids play sports, and church related activities in his free time.  He is married to his wife Kelly, has two children, and they reside in Northern Hall County.
