Experience
I came to the classroom by way of the boardroom. Fresh from my undergraduate degree, I worked in public relations/advertising for an ad agency. I then moved to a corporate setting as a public relations/communications manager for an avian biologics firm. After working for a few years as a freelance writer, I made the move to teach high school. Here at White County High School, I've taught marketing, business, yearbook, teaching as a profession, and work-based learning classes. I am blessed to teach students practical skills that can be applied in their chosen careers and work ethics that will enhance both their personal and professional lives.
Bio
I am a White County transplant from Palmetto, Georgia. I am married to Roger London, owner of London Land Surveying, and we have three fantastic kids. Levi completed his Master's Degree in accounting at the University of Georgia, passed his CPA exams, and is now working as an internal auditor at Pulte Homes in Atlanta. Levi, his wife Allie, and my grandson Clayton make their home in Peachtree Corners. Olivia is a graduate of the nursing program at Kennesaw State University and currently works in the NICU at Wellstar Kennestone Hospital. Olivia, her husband Matthew, and my grandson Theodore reside in Canton, Georgia. Max is a 2020 graduate of The University of Georgia and is currently working as an insurance agent for State Farm in Sandy Springs, Georgia. Max and his wife Breann live in Athens.
I love Jesus, chocolate, raising industrious bees, reading (especially historical fiction), hiking, watching movies, and playing card/board games...when I actually have the time!
