Bio: 

Welcome to 7th Grade Science!

Before teaching, I was in the Health/Wellness Field. I have experience in Cardiac/Pulmonary Rehabilitation as well as Personal Training working with ages ranging from young athletes to older folks looking to make their lives better. I was also in the Georgia Army National Guard as an Armor Crewman.

I enjoy weight lifting, mountain biking, hiking, and kayak fishing. I am fascinated by weather and astronomy too - did you know the James Webb Telescope was finally launched over Christmas 2 years ago? Some other interests I have are bush craft, vegetable gardening, cooking, and  the study of language.

Since beginning my teaching career, I've taught grades 2-8. My first position was at East Hall Middle School for 4 years working with grades 6-8. Afterwards, I arrived at White County Intermediate School (Now TGE!) and taught there for 11 years, 7 with elementary-aged kids, and 4 with 6th graders in the fields of Math and Science. This will be my 8th year at WCMS, where I've taught both Life Science and Physical Science.
