Classroom Expectations

Structure within the classroom is essential to all students’ learning. In order to create the ideal academic environment, students will practice procedures for entering the classroom, working within groups and independently, participating actively and appropriately during class discussion, and for listening attentively. Technology is only to be used appropriately--this means phones stay in backpacks or pockets!

If you are absent, please send me an email the day before or the morning of letting me know. We can work out turing in assignments for the following day, unless there are conflicting circumstances.

Once the you return to class, any required handouts or notes will be available at a designated place in the room. Further, it is recommended that you ask a friend in class to share what was learned. Because time spent in school is directly related to high academic achievement, it is important that students attend school regularly.
