Naloxbox
Mia Len ’21, Kamilah (Kam) Thorne ’20, and Natalie Wind ’20 worked with me to develop and present their case study of Nalaxobox, a Rhode Island-based social enterprise which works to improve the capacity of bystander rescuers to save the lives of victims of opioid overdose with overdose response tools, including life-saving medications such as naloxone.
Praava Healthcare
During the summer of 2021, I am working with Katrin Anwar ’24 on a case study of Praava, a Bangladeshi start-up enterprise focused on delivering quality primary health care to the country’s growing middle and upper-middle-class.
Finally, Mia Len ’22 and Kamilah (Kam) Thorne ‘20 presented their case study of Nalaxobox, a Rhode Island-based social enterprise, at the 2020 Eastern Academy of Management annual conference this summer. Naloxbox works to improve the capacity of bystander rescuers to save the lives of victims of opioid overdose with overdose response tools, including life-saving medications such as naloxone. Mia, Kam, and their co-author, Natalie Wind ’20, wrote the case study as part of their final project for MGMT 225, Social Entrepreneurship & Innovation; I will use their case study in the Spring 2021 section of the MGMT 225 course.
