Breathing: These are a series of 10 breathing exercises to reduce stress or anxiety, or improve lung function. I suggest starting with doing them in order. If you are new to a breathing practice, start with 3-5 minutes at a time as many times as you need throughout the day.
Yin Yoga: This is a very gentle practice moving deeply into the fascia (connective tissue) of the body. It is especially beneficial for people who have tightness, injuries or who have inflammation in their joints. Try not to use your muscles. Relax and let the long held postures release the connective tissues of your body.
I recommend this practice to be done in the evening, with low lights, very gentle music (or none), when you're ready to go to sleep! You will feel so relaxed.
These are FREE Yoga and short meditation classes with Core-Power Yoga. The Yoga practices tend to be geared towards experienced practitioners, however anyone can try as long as you listen to your body!
