Physical Education Rules

• Five minutes at the beginning and end of period to change.
• Do not give your locker combination to anyone.
• Keep anything valuable locked in your locker at all times. Keep the locker door closed in the locked position.
• Wear APPROPRIATE PE attire. (T-shirt, Shorts, Sweats, Leggings)
• Wear APPROPRIATE footwear. (No crocs, no sandals, no boots, no boat shoes, no slippers, no slip on shoes) SNEAKERS ONLY
• If you are unprepared for class, you can make up the missed class period by attending extra help. Please discuss with your teacher.
• Please report to your assigned squad spot for attendance.
• No Cell Phones
• Fire Drills - Please follow your class outside to the track and report to your teacher for attendance on the turf.
• Remember - You need four years of Physical Education to graduate.

Attendance Policies

• The School Physical Education DCA policy allows students a maximum of six absences per semester course.
• Three lates = an absence.
• 20 mins late to class = an absence
• Report to your teacher BEFORE going to guidance, music, band so you do not get marked absent.
• You are unable to make up an absence.

Grading Policy

Daily Point System - 85 % of Grade . --- Google Classroom Assignments 15%

Point System - 5 points/day

Preparation

0 = not prepared

1 = late, but prepared for class

2 = Prepared and on time

Participation

0 = Can Not Participate

1 = No effort during activity

2 = Good effort, not your best

3 = Full participant in activity that day. Engaged and giving great effort
