About Mrs. Ardito

I grew up on Long Island and live locally with my husband, three boys, and my dog Cooper. My first career was in book publishing, and I enjoyed working with authors of many different genres both in New York City and Boston. As you might guess, I love reading, and am always curious about what books inspire and excite my students! I also worked as a freelance writer for many years while my boys were growing up. I obtained my Masters Degree in Special Education at Dowling College, and my TESOL degree at Molloy College. When I am not in the classroom, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, and love to travel to new places (where I always collect rocks for my Earth Science class ;)). I am looking forward to a great school year with our new students!
