Just because we're at home doesn't mean we can't work on our skills, or try a new sport! Every Friday we post a skill from a different sport that you can try. Click below to watch today's video.
If you don't have the sports equipment in today's video, or if you want to make the skill more fun and challenging, there are lots of items you can use instead!
Substitute a balloon or beach ball for a volleyball, use a volleyball or soccer ball in place of a basketball
Try a tennis ball, ball of yarn, or even an orange for a baseball/softball ( we don't recommend hitting an orange with a bat though!)
Substitute shoes or other small objects for cones
Use laundry baskets, hula hoops, or storage tubs for a basket or goal
Milk jugs, canned goods, or books can be used as dumbbell weights
These are just some ideas. Be creative!
Make sure you have the correct form for burpees by watching this video. When you have correct form, you get a better workout and build more strength!
