Manaakitanga, Tū Kaha, Aroha, Whanaungatanga

  • We will be connecting with your tamariki for learning through a range of tools.

  • First week will be 'tutu' time and ensuring that we can navigate and find our way around the sites.

  • There will be 'technical' challenges - and that is ok, please email the kaiako and they will help you out.

  • Cybersafety - so important that whanau are aware of what your tamariki are doing online- whanau need to be vigilant and keep an eye on what your tamariki are doing online.

  • Most importantly, have fun! Do not stress out if tasks are not completed. It is ok! Your whanau will choose the pathway, the times, etc, we are here to support in anyway.

CYBER SAFETY WHANAU - Update from Ministry of Education that as we are moving in to the digital learning at home whanau we need to ensure that we are protecting and educating our tamariki. MOE has provided all whanau with some tools to support them at home with a

'Network for Learning' NFL which filters unwanted sites. NFL is operating at all schools in Aotearoa. So as a parent there are some things that you can do to ensure the 'devices' that are safe - so head to this link "switchonsafety.co.nz" and follow the instructions for your child's device!
