The Coca-Cola Scholars Foundation supports over 1,400 college students each year, with annual scholarships of $3.45 million, through two nationally recognized programs. The Hagan Scholarship
Recipients of a Hagan Scholarship will join a small yet distinguished group of high school-achieving students who aspire to obtain a college education in order to realize their full potential. The dollar amount of each Hagan
The scholarship will vary up to $5,000 per semester. Each scholarship is renewable for up to seven additional consecutive semesters if the recipient fulfills the renewal criteria. Up to 150 new scholarships can be awarded

Distinguished Young Women of Iowa Scholarship
This scholarship program is restricted to high school girls who are seniors for the 2025-2026 school year. This program, formally Iowa Junior Miss, inspires girls to develop their full, individual potential through a fun,

UNI Business Dean’s Scholarships
In order to qualify for the UNI Business Dean’s Scholarship, students must:
• Be a high school senior
• Have both ACT math and ACT composite scores of 27 or higher
• Express interest in pursuing a business major at UNI

United States JCI Senate Foundation Scholarship
The United States JCI Senate Foundation Scholarship for high school seniors. Each year $1,000 grants will be awarded to graduating high school seniors in the United States, who plan to continue their education at accredited post-secondary colleges, universities or vocational schools. The number of grants awarded annually will be at the discretion of the United States JCI Senate Foundation. They must be used for educational expenses in the first year of full-time study. Checks awarded will be made out in the name of the recipient and the educational institution of their choice. Mediacom Communications World Class Scholarship Program
Mediacom is offering 60 scholarships of $1,000. While it is not required that a student be a Mediacom customer, applicants must live in the areas serviced by Mediacom. An application may be obtained via the Internet at www.mediacomworldclass.com

The Strayer-Rairden Scholarship in Physics-IOWA
The department of Physics and Astronomy awards one $1,000 grant each year, renewable for up to three (3) successive years following the initial award, to an entering freshman from the state of Iowa. This person is selected by the Department of Physics and Astronomy as the state's best qualified applicant who matriculates at the University of Iowa and has declared physics or astronomy as their major. This scholarship is awarded on the basis of academic merit, not financial need.
As long as a scholarship winner maintains a 3.2 grade point average, and remains in the declared major specified above, the scholarship may be renewed for a total of four years or the completion of a baccalaureate degree, whichever comes first.

Iowa State University – Christina Hixson Opportunity Award
This award has an estimated value of more than $13,000 over eight semesters to be used at Iowa State University. One hundred high school seniors from across Iowa will receive the award each year, representing each county in the state. Selection is based on the student’ s eligibility and potential, letter of recommendation, and financial need analysis. Student must be a resident of Iowa, must be admissible to Iowa State University, must demonstrate financial eligibility, must have faced challenges of personal and/or financial hardship, and possess the potential to succeed. Keep Iowa Beautiful is offering up to four, $500 scholarships to Iowa high school seniors! Students across Iowa enrolling in an Iowa college or university to major in community enhancement or environmental areas of study are eligible. Through the leadership of Bob Byers, long-time educator, KIB's Litter Free School Campus program was initiated in northwest Iowa in 2003. Grand Lodge of Iowa, A.F. & A.M. Scholarship
The Scholarship Selection Committee of the Grand Lodge of Iowa is pleased to announce that again scholarships will be awarded to a number of students that will graduate this academic year from public high schools within the state. Last year 60 scholarships were awarded for $2,000 each. The final determination of the number and the amount for this year is dependent upon the investment income earned. A broad-based criteria is used in the selection process. The principal criterion is service to school and community with special emphasis upon leadership roles in these areas. The Grand Lodge of Iowa is looking for those students who exhibit the greatest potential to be not only service to their communities in the future but also leaders in these communities. An applicant’s academic record, communication skills, and need for financial assistance are also carefully considered as is an evaluation of the applicant by a school official. The organization, appearance, and completeness of the application are also factors considered by the selection committee. This booklet is a very informative annual publication that contains information on scholarships for veterans’ dependents. Iowa 4-H Scholarship Program
Iowa 4-H members are eligible to apply for 4-H scholarships if they meet individual scholarship requirements (i.e. designated college and/or major program of study, county of residence, 4-H event participation, etc.). Applicants must enroll as a full-time student (minimum of 12 credit hours) to receive scholarship awards. Only ONE application form is needed for all Iowa 4-H scholarships. Mediacom Communications World Class Scholarship
For the 2022-2023 school year, Mediacom Communications is again offering 60 $1,000 non-renewable scholarships through its World Class Scholarship Program to senior high school students in areas of the 21 states where it provides services for cable, internet and telephone. 350 $1000 scholarships are offered in spring. All applications must be must be typewritten and students are required to obtain a signature from a Cargill manager or employee on their application. Iowa Engineering Scholarship (IES)
A high school senior who intends to earn a degree in engineering is encouraged to apply. Academic requirements are: GPA – minimum – 3.0, ACT composite score – minimum – 24. Applicant must be accepted for admission at Iowa State University or the University of Iowa.

The Hancock County Soil and Water Conservation District will again be offering scholarships this year to those pursuing programs of study in any field of agriculture, conservation or natural resources. Scholarships will be awarded at the district level. The number of scholarships and amounts will be determined at a later date. One district winner’s application will be forwarded onto the regional level. Regional winners who do not receive the state awards will receive $600. The $600 awards will be paid directly to the student. Three scholarships will be awarded at the state level in the amounts of $4000, $3000, and $2000, and will be paid directly to the school of choice in two installments, one upon enrollment at the beginning of the year and the second at midterm. The NIACC Promise Scholarship is a last dollar award; it will be applied to your NIACC account after all other grants & scholarships are applied (federal, state, outside and other NIACC aid).
This scholarship will cover the tuition and mandatory fees charged to all NIACC students.
Students may receive this scholarship for a maximum of 4 semesters if they maintain a 2.0 cumulative GPA, full-time student status, meet Financial Aid Satisfactory Academic Progress guidelines, and complete 4 volunteer hours of community service each semester at NIACC.

All Iowa Opportunity Foster Care Grant
Students who age out of Iowa's foster care system, age out of the state training schools, or who are adopted after the age of 16 may qualify for the All Iowa Opportunity Foster Care Grant program. This grant can be used for any college expenses including tuition, fees, books and supplies, dorms and off-campus housing, meal plans, transportation, and personal living expenses. Grant amounts range from $2,364 - $8,368 per year. Priority for awards will be given to students who:Renewal applications, received by March 1, are considered for funding first
New student applications will be considered in date received order
Eligibility criteria:
• Must be an Iowa resident
• Student is under the age of 18 and currently in licensed foster care under the care and custody of the Iowa Department of Human Services or Iowa Juvenile Court. Services and will remain in placement to within 30 days of his or her 18th birthday.
• Student is under the age of 18 and currently under Juvenile Court order to live with a relative or suitable person and will remain in placement to within 30 days of the student's 18th birthday.
• Student is currently between the ages of 18 and 23 and was in one of the living situations described above until the age of 18. Student will be under the age of 23 on the day of he or she begins college.
• Student was previously in Iowa foster care and was legally adopted after the age of 16. Student will be under the age of 23 on the day he or she begins college.
• Student is/was under Juvenile Court order to reside at the State Training School or Iowa Juvenile Home until age 18 and will be under the age of 23 on the day he or she begins college.

ICAN Outstanding Student Scholarship Honoring Steve Loven
About Steve Loven - - This scholarship honors Steve Loven, an ICAN founder whose professional career was dedicated to promoting financial aid and college planning success for Iowa students and the school counseling profession on many levels. Over the past 30 years, his work included being the Financial Aid Director at AIB College of Business and Des Moines Area Community College. Steve joined the Iowa College Access Network in 1999. As a founding member of the ICAN team, Steve worked tirelessly for 15 years, greatly contributing to the success and significant contributions ICAN makes each year in 99% of Iowa high schools. Steve is now enjoying retirement.

MaxYield Cooperative Agricultural Scholarship
The purpose of the MaxYield Cooperative scholarship program is to encourage area youth to pursue and prepare for careers in agriculture. This program is designed to provide financial assistance for students pursuing higher education in the field of agriculture. MaxYield will offer a maximum of six $1,000 scholarships to full time students in pursuit of agriculture curriculum. See Mr. Welp if you would like an application.

Governor Terry E. Branstad Iowa State Fair Scholarship
The Governor Terry E. Branstad Iowa State Fair Scholarship recognizes outstanding Iowa high school seniors who have actively participated in the Iowa State Fair. Up to four scholarships, ranging from $500 to $1,000 are awarded each year. Scholarships are awarded for the recipient's first year of college only. Iowa 4H Scholarship
Applicants must enroll as a full-time student (minimum of 12 credit hours) to receive scholarship awards. Only ONE application form is needed for all Iowa 4-H scholarships by using the Transmittal Form. Eligible Iowa 4-H youth may apply for more than one scholarship, however, only one scholarship per individual will be awarded per year. All application materials must be received on site or postmarked no later than March 1, 2013 for consideration. Are you an Iowa 4-H'er planning to attend college? Consider applying for an Iowa 4-H Scholarship. We know it's not easy to finance a college education, and know that many Iowa 4-H'ers can use help achieving their educational goals. Designed to encourage Iowa 4-H members to continue their education beyond high school, our 2014-2015 scholarship program offers more than 100 scholarships totaling over $85,000 in financial aid for Iowa youth. Scholarships range in value from $500 to $5000. Check eligibility guidelines carefully as many scholarships have specific eligibility requirements. This scholarship program is for high school seniors who plan to enroll in a mechanical or trade course of study at an accredited Iowa Community College. The scholarship may be used for any bona fide school related expense such as tuition, fees, books, and tools. Scholarships will be $1000. Sons and/or daughters of Iowa Farm Bureau members are eligible. Midwest Dairy Association Educational Award
Applicants who qualify include any producer who funds Midwest Dairy Association, the producer’s spouse, the producer’s children or grandchildren. The producer must have an active dairy operation as of January 1st of

Iowa Automobile Dealers (IDA) Foundation for Education
Applicants must be committed to the pursuit of automotive or truck-related studies, such as technician training, body shop/collision repair, diesel, new vehicle sales, parts sales, accounting or business administration. A signed

North Iowa Builders Exchange Scholarship
The mission of the North Iowa Builders Exchange shall be to promote and educate the building and trades Industry. This mission is achieved by maintaining a plan room, holding membership meetings, co-sponsoring the Annual North Iowa Home Show and working with local schools through providing educational scholarships for the building & trades industry.
This scholarship is available to high school seniors and undergraduates pursuing a career in the building and trades field. Award amount is $1,000 annually. ACACIA Leadership Scholarship (Iowa State University Males)
The ACACIA Leadership Scholarship is designed to identify and reward outstanding high school seniors who have demonstrated their ability to excel in the fields of academics, extra-curricular school activities, and community involvement. The scholarship is available to any male, graduating senior from an accredited high school who attends Iowa State University. The scholarship is awarded by the Alumni Corporate Board of ACACIA Fraternity at Iowa State University. Scholarships that are awarded are not transferrable to another institution or individual. SFM Foundation Scholarship
The SFM Foundation provides scholarships to students whose parents were killed or seriously injured in workplace accidents while working for Minnesota, Iowa, or Wisconsin employers. At up to $10,000 per year, for up to five years, these scholarships are substantial enough to make a real difference for these students. First Friday Breakfast Club Scholarship
Annually, the First Friday Breakfast Club awards scholarships to graduating Iowa high school seniors committed to reducing homophobia and increasing awareness and tolerance of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ+) issues in their schools and communities.
Awards will be made in the amount of $3,000 per student. Scholarships are paid in two installments upon receipt of the student’s proof of enrollment in the institution of secondary education.

The Pearl Hull Falk Scholarship
MidWest One Bank administers the Pearl Hull Falk Trust which provides funds for the Pearl Hull Falk Scholarship. Prior to her death in 1965, Pearl Hull Falk resided in Iowa City where her husband was a prominant banker during the early 1900's. The trust was established under the Last Will and Testament of Mrs. Falk to provide annual scholarships to needy and worthy students attending the University of Iowa. Scholarships are awarded annually in the amount of $800.00 each. Awards will be paid in installments of $400.00 at the beginning of each semester and sent directly to the University of Iowa Office of Student Financial Aid.

It’s that time again: ICADV is now accepting applications for the Alice Barton Scholarship for 2022!! The application is available on our website,www.icadv.org.
