6th grade English Language Arts

Hello everyone and welcome to 6th grade! I am so excited to be continuing with the wonderful Flagstone community this year as the 6th grade English Language Arts teacher. This will be my 11th year teaching, and my third in Douglas County. I have had the privilege of teaching in Texas, Arizona and Brighton, CO. I have taught 4th grade (one year), 5th grade (6 years) and 6th grade Language Arts (two years) and have loved all of the experiences that I have had. I am very excited to be back in a 6th grade classroom and teaching reading and writing together!

I am a Colorado native, though I took a little break to live in the desert for about 10 years. I have been back in Colorado for four years now and love being home! I have an (almost) 1 year old little girl named Evelyn. She is the sweetest and happiest little love. I am a HUGE Broncos fan and love going to and playing any kid of sport that I can.  My husband Matt and I live In Castle Rock and love this community!
