As we have recently experienced changes in our education system from Covid-19, there may be a time when independent learning and self-directedness are needed for students. Thankfully in today's world, we have plenty of resources to offer just that!
Khan Academy is a free resource for both educators and students. This free website offers many math, science, and even English topics. Students can use this resource to learn concepts they are struggling with or enrich their learning with more advanced topics. Khan Academy also has a YouTube channel with categories easy to navigate.
IXL is also a great tool for students to use at home to work and learn independently. Students can select their grade level and subject and find resources based on the current standard they are learning in school.
