Add the following to your Plastics doc each day as noted. Add the date completed. Before you submit the final project, delete all of the instructions and dates. I cannot comment on this page, so I will do so in the text on your page, in bold. Please make the edits I suggest and after I re-read your work, I will delete my comments.

  • Add a definition of plastic. Describe the different types of plastic.

  • Add 5 photos of disposable items around your home that are made of plastic. Resize the photos so they don’t take more than 1 page. Tell what the product is, if it’s not obvious from the photo.

  • Choose one product (could be from your photos) and brainstorm ways that product could be delivered to consumers without plastic (or using less plastic.)

  • Refer back to the photos of products you found in your home.
    • list ways you could reduce your use of disposable plastic
    • Identify challenges you might face with each solution


*Unbiased source - in this case, a company that sells or manufactures plastics, or an organization that promotes one side of an issue, for example, PETA.
