The call for abstracts is now closed. Presenters will be notified of acceptance in July.
All presentations at PhyGSS25 are expected to be in person in Winston-Salem, NC.
Submissions related to one of four thematic series of the conference were invited.
We accepted submissions from a diverse application of physics, and we especially encouraged practitioners to share their work. The four thematic series are:
Advanced Microscopies in Physics Research
Organic and Hybrid Materials
Quantum Many-Body Dynamics
Algorithms and Machine Learning for Physical Processes
Abstract Submission
Presentation topics should focus on scientific research, novel methodologies, and the broader impact of physics on society and interdisciplinary fields.
The session viewer, approved sessions, and submitted abstracts can be viewed here. Please note that this is not the final meeting program. The scientific program will be published in July 2025.

Familiarize yourself with the Session Types
Sessions at PhyGSS include diverse fields of physics from Quantum Sensing and Materials, through Organic and Hybrid Systems, to Earth Processes and Space Science. Presenters are able to participate in one the following formats:
Oral Presentations: 15-minute talks with Q&A for detailed research discussions. It is strongly encouraged that all PhD candidates, those who have passed their first RAC, give an oral presentation.
Lightning Talks: 5-minute presentations for highlighting key findings and advertising posters.
Poster Sessions: Graduate and undergraduate students are welcome.
