LIQUID LANDSCAPES

Design, Networks, and Stories

This course site is designed by Judith Madera and David Phillips to engage participants and communities in thinking critically about water. We are especially interested in understanding the role of watershed in place-making and in the ways we experience and construct our relationships to place.

Through community exercises, integrative digital work, and collaborative research opportunities, we have archived course members' exploration of water as a resource that prompts significant questions about human value and ecological relationships.

The site is a repository of our insights about water as interconnectedness, as vulnerability, and as something that determines the quality of life for all life.
