Students can follow these steps to activate or renew a subscription using your new student code:

Enter 623zgs in the Student Code field.
Select the appropriate age group.
Complete the registration information.

Click "Start Practicing"
Select your instrument
Select your NYSSMA level (1 or 2)
On time signature, make sure you check both 4/4 and 2/4 (make sure you chose 'multi-select')
For level 1, only choose D major. For level 2, choose D and G major (make sure you chose 'multi-select').
Click begin challenge.
Choose 60 seconds, cursor on, metronome on, and make sure the metronome is set to 60.
Begin!
