Grading Policy

Please be aware that report cards and progress reports are all done electronically.

30% - Objective Assessments: (20% Tests & 10% Quizzes)

- - Multiple choice questions
  - Short answer questions
  - Stimulus Based questions
  - Other objective assessments

20% - Subjective Assessments

- - Thematic Essays
  - Constructed Responses
  - Document Based Essays
  - Projects and other subjective assessments
  - Enduring Issues Writing Responses

15% - Homework - will be assigned periodically throughout the year.

Usually students will have two nights to complete the assignment.
Students should review their class activities nightly.

35% - Class attendance and class participation

- - - Participation in classroom activities and lessons such as those listed below

Classroom Activities to Assess Class Participation
