Class Rules and Goals

CLASSROOM ACADEMIC RULES (In Class):

1. Be on time and ready to work

2. Remain in your assigned seat 

3. Lateness: If you are late, you must receive a pass from a staff member.  If you are late three times, you will receive a phone call home.

4. Always come to class prepared to work.  (Pens, highlighter, pencils, erasers, social studies binder).

5. Be sure to hand in your assignments on time.  Deadlines met—ALL make up work is due one week after deadline

6. If you have something to say, raise your hand and wait until you are recognized.

7. Always be respectful to your teacher and classmates.  Showcase your maturity and appropriate behavior!

8. Please do not use your cell phone or complete other assignments in class unless we allow a cell phone activity as part of our lesson.

9. Hats or headgear should not be worn in class.

10. Have a positive attitude.

Virtual Classroom Rules:

1. Anything that is written or posted on a discussion board, communication platform, or digital assignment must be appropriate and address our lesson.  Any inappropriate comments will be subject to disciplinary action.

2. If engaged in a Social Studies lesson from home, your demeanor and tone must be appropriate for a classroom setting.

3. If you think it is not appropriate to do in a classroom it is also not appropriate to do online!
