Living Environment

Course Description

​This year we will be studying life –living things, how they exist and how they interact with each other and their environment. We will prepare for the New York State Living Environment Regents which will be given in June 2018. Some of the topics we will be learning about are cells and cell processes, biochemistry, body systems, reproduction, genetics, evolution, ecology, and how humans impact the environment.

Labs

​Students are required to complete 1200 minutes of lab activity or 30 passing labs in order to be eligible to sit for the living environment regents exam. If not completed, students will be ineligible to take the Regents exam in June.
