WFISD teachers --both General Ed and Special Ed-- have the opportunity to learn more about dyslexia, and potentially get paid for it!

WFISD Sessions:
During June-July, staff can attend full-day training sessions for opt-out credit or a $150 stipend!
Region 9 Sessions:
Attend a dyslexia update in June at Region 9 for opt-out credit.
The following resources are available any time.
Teachers can complete training--and potentially earn opt-out credit, too--through an online service called Eduhero.

NOTE: In Eduhero, ALL STAFF should complete the certain modules as part of legal requirements from TEA.
Beginning May 28, these courses will be available in Eduhero by enrolling in the plan titled "2024-2025 Required Modules."
These modules must be completed annually (EVERY YEAR). Choosing "Recertify" restarts the course and lets you earn a new certificate, even though your previous one is saved.
