About Me

My name is Amanda Lackey, and I am the Instructional Coach at Scotland Park.  I have been at SP for 10 years.  I taught first grade before moving into the Dyslexia classroom.  This year, I have moved into the role of Instructional Coach.  My husband, Mark, and I have 2 daughters, Carlyn and Cara.  We also have two Cane Corsos and a Chiweenie.  I enjoy reading, crafting, and most of all, spending time with my family.

I attended Midwestern State University and received a BS in Sociology with a minor in Psychology.  I returned to MSU to receive my teaching credentials and am currently certified EC-4 Generalist, 4-8 Generalist & ESL.  I am also certified in Reading By Design, the Dyslexia intervention program used by WFISD.
