Teaching Philosophy

The student is the going to be the most important development in the near future. Many are going to follow their dreams working toward their bright future. A famous quote by Lao Tzu, "the journey of a thousand miles begins with one step," as a teacher it is my main goal to help students take that first step toward their dreams. That all student have the ability to take these first steps with their peers. The majority of making this successful is my altering the lessons plans objectives to encourage students. These objectives' goals are to make effective lessons plans dynamic and inclusive to help all students' progress. I follow three guiding rules for my teaching philosophy that include:

  • That all student have the ability to learn. The student should never feel that they are failing due to any kind of variables. It will be my job, and others to find a way for these students to grow. It is important to help these student realize that no situation is hopeless.

  • That student needs the proper tools to learn. Education practices and methods are changing at a rapid rate. I believe that motivating students to allow endorsement of a love for education. Using these new "tools" allow for me as a teacher to better encourage the student's learning.

  • That everyone no matter their level of knowledge can always learn more. I want to emphasize that students should be lifelong learners. New discoveries are being made everyday and based on these changes be a significant change to what we perceive. The goal is to make the student be active lifelong learners that can apply their efforts to create, critical thinking, collaborate, and communicate.
