The following items are needed to participate in girls' lacrosse
Girls Lacrosse Stick (preseason)
Lacrosse Goggles(preseason)
Mouthguard at least 2 (preseason)
Molded
If you have braces, they make non-molded ones specifically for braces.
Cleats and/or Turfs
The majority of our games and practices will be on turf, but will most likely have some practices on a notoriously muddy grass field.
Running shoes
Cleats and Turfs cannot be used to run in the neighborhoods, on the track, in the school hallways, or in the gymnasiums.
Chucks, platform tennis shoes, and "cute tennis shoes" are not for athletics. Proper footwear protects the entire body from injury.
Long-sleeved tight-fitting shirts for under jerseys when it is cold. Players will need a black and white long-sleeved shirt. These need to be plain. Sweatshirts and zip-ups are not game-approved for under a uniform.
There is a long sleeve black shooting shirt on the spirit wear order form which is a great option.
Black tight-fitting joggers or leggings for underneath players' kilts for cold weather.
Preseason practices are led and run by the Seniors. Coaches will be present, however, the coaches will NOT be instructing any player during this time due to the WIAA off-season Contact Rules.
