This is a Specialized committee for all levels. Delegates will represent Olympian Gods, semi-divine figures, and mortals. The gods and goddesses, who once ruled with absolute authority, now find themselves in a world that is rapidly changing. While the power dynamics between mortals and immortals have shifted, delegates must debate whether the gods must still hold their roles as overseers of nature, fate, war, love, and wisdom, or should leave mortals to rule their own realm. Delegates are divided between mortals being against divine intervention and deities who want all to reign over the realm as in the past, both including tensions within the parties. The future of the mortal realm is in your hands, so what shall you decide?

The Cuban Missile Crisis is a crisis committee, and is tailored towards delegates with a moderate level of experience. Students will play the roles of important statesmen in the United States, Soviet Union, Cuba, Italy, and Turkey.
This crisis is the closest the world has ever gotten to a nuclear conflict. Millions fear the Cold War is getting hot as the Soviets deny American demands to remove nuclear missiles from Cuba. All parties involved know that escalation will lead to global destruction, but backing down will make the government seem weak to their populations at home. The world prays that this conference will come to a peaceful resolution to the issue. If it fails, we cannot imagine the extent of the destruction

Ad Hoc is an advanced and unique crisis committee designed for delegates who are eager to debate and be surprised. The theme of this ADHOC is based on the game Clue, but the details of the topic will not be revealed until moments before the conference starts. Delegates will have to think on their feet and respond effectively to sudden crises.
Background Guide will be given out the day of conference.
