The Curriculum Resources
The Weymouth Public Schools Curriculum Maps have been developed over time through collaboration events with teachers and leaders for the last several years. The release of new Science, Technology, and Engineering Standards in April of 2016 and new Mathematics and ELA Standards released in July of 2017 necessitated a review of the curriculum map resources. The maps have also been updated using the "Understanding by Design" (Wiggings & McTighe) planning approach. We look forward to continuing to partner with district teachers and leaders to continue to develop Unit Maps to support academic success for all Weymouth students.
