We are lucky to be based at Weymouth & Portland National Sailing Academy, home of 2012 Olympic Sailing.

We provide fun taster adventurous activities to the local community.

What programmes are available & how to get involved?

You can choose to book onto as many Programmes as you wish!!!!!

When selecting a programme, it includes all dates within that programme:

Programme 1 - Wednesday 27th, Thursday 28th & Friday 29th July 9:00AM - 13:00PM

Programme 2 - Thursday 4th & Friday 5th August 9:00AM - 13:00PM

Programme 3 - Wednesday 17th, Thursday 18th & Friday 19th August 9:00AM - 13:00PM

Programme 4 - Wednesday 24th, Thursday 25th & Friday 26th August 9:00AM - 13:00PM

Programme 5 - Monday 29th, Tuesday 30th & Wednesday 31st August 9:00AM - 13:00PM

We will be getting up to a whole range of exciting outdoor activities which are all led by our wonderful outdoor instructors. Check out the list of great activities you could take part in as part of the Weymouth & Portland Adventure HAF programme:

How to register for the programme and secure your place?

FAQ's

Do I have to be able to swim? The simple answer is NO! You will be given a wetsuit and a buoyancy aid. This is a personal flotation device that will be fitted to your chest giving you buoyancy while you're in the water. This makes swimming and paddling in the water a breeze. Our qualified instructor team will be at hand to guide you through your sessions and support you to maximise your enjoyment while you're with us.
What should I bring with me? Please see the included Kit List Document which includes all the information you need to bring the correct equipment for a successful day of activity:

Do you have changing rooms and toilets? Yes. We're able to use the Weymouth & Portland National Sailing Academy changing room and toilet facilities. These are on site and can be used during your visit at any time.

Where are you located?

We are located in the grounds of Weymouth and Portland National Sailing Academy:

WPNSA, Hamm Beach Road, Osprey Quay, Portland, Dorset, DT5 1SA

Our Activity Area is located in the Boatyard of the main complex adjacent to the main car park.

Please look out for our signage reading Weymouth & Portland Adventure on the blue fence as you come into the car park, and we're based there. You can use the slipway to the left hand side to reach us.
