Dear SDMS Students,Summer reading should be enjoyable and fun! That's why we don't tell you what to read--we simply recommend that you pick two books of your choice to read! They should be books that you have never read before and are appropriate for your age and reading level. We encourage you to read fiction and non-fiction and to choose from different genres. Ebooks and audiobooks are great choices as well! We hope that you will read some great books this summer and look forward to your reactions and recommendations--hopefully many more than two books! In addition, we encourage you to participate in the fun and engaging summer programs the Wethersfield Library has to offer as well. Happy reading!Dr. Russell and the Language Arts Teachers
It's as easy as 1, 2, 3!
1. Choose two books that YOU WANT to read. They should be books you have not read before2. Log each book on an online Google Form through the Wethersfield Library and earn prizes! Your entries will automatically be submitted to your Language Arts Teachers in September. 3. If you would rather track on paper, you can print a paper reading log to turn into your Language Arts teacher at the start of school.It's as easy as 1, 2, 3!
