Each student will have their individual progress assessed in a number of ways.
During lessons and band classes, students receive immediate feedback and guidance from their music teachers.
Periodically, students are also given an opportunity to self-reflect on progress made during group music lessons, and on their performance during band as part of a larger ensemble.
Student's work habits and responsibilities are also assessed regularly in Instrumental Music. These habits and responsibilities include coming to class regularly with an instrument and music, engaging positively in classroom activities, and demonstrating an openness to accept new challenges.
