About the Library

Our Mission: 

The mission of the library program at Thurston Middle School is to ensure that students and staff are effective users of ideas and information. To meet this goal, the library strives to be a place where students and staff can create, collaborate, communicate, and think critically about a wide range of subjects and areas of interest. 

Library Expectations: 

Students will get passes in the morning to attend programs during the W.I.N. block. There will be book clubs during lunch and students who sign up are welcome to bring their lunch to the library and listen to a book and participate in conversations about the book as we read. We will meet as long as it takes to finish the book.

I am happy to be of service to any student who needs assistance in using library resources.
