District Criteria
The Westville School District identifies Gifted and Talented students each year based on an established criteria. Students in 1st - 6th grade are screened upon entry each school year based on a comprehensive data review. Kindergarten students are identified mid-year. The list of students is maintained on our Parkview Data Sheet, identified in our SIS and will be uploaded into NJSmart beginning Fall 2020. Curricular and instructional modifications include but are not limited to classroom differentiated instruction, acceleration, flexible pacing and choice, individual programs infused the student's educational program, participation in our STEAM and W.I.N. programs.
