A LITTLE BIT ABOUT ME: 

Howdy! I'm tenured teacher here at West Valley School, and but fairly new to the Flathead Valley. I moved here from Lynden, Washington in 2014 after graduating from Washington State University. Go Cougs! I have a B.A. Biology Education with endorsement for Middle Level Science.  After moving to the valley I began substitute teaching in Kalispell, Whitefish, and Evergreen. 

In 2015 I was hired as the 6th grade classroom teacher at Fair-Mont-Egan Elementary. After two years teaching there I was hired on as West Valley's 7th/8th grade science teacher. I am excited to be at West Valley, focusing on the weirdness of science, working alongside such talented and enthusiastic staff members. I hope to engage students in their education with new and challenging topics as they comb through the many complexities, mysteries, and entanglements their world offers. 

The Flathead Valley is an excellent place to start a new family, explore the outdoors, and create a community of learners. It's good to be here!
