NATIONAL STUDENT CLEARINGHOUSE
Thousands of high schools rely on the National Student Clearinghouse for continuing collegiate enrollment and degree information on their alumni. The Clearinghouse enables Westside High School to follow our graduates’ transition to college by querying participating institutions’ postsecondary enrollment and degree records.
For the purposes of this data, Westside High School is comparing itself to other Learning Community members and the State of Nebraska. The Learning Community is an organization designed by the Legislature to serve the 11 school districts in the Omaha Metropolitan area. There are 18 elected representatives who oversee an open enrollment process available to families across the Metro and also to provide nearly $5 million annually in funding for school districts and community organizations to serve elementary children and their families. The Learning Community also facilitates collaboration on a number of education issues.
