Record audio for a podcast using Quicktime on your MacBook or the Voice Memo App on an iPad.
You can edit out background white noise using Audacity's noise removal feature.
Load your audio file in Audacity by dragging the file into the window.
Highlight a section of the audio that is only the white noise.
Click Effect>Noise Removal>Get Noise Profile>OK
Double click to highlight the entire audio file.
Click Effect>Noise Removal>OK
