1. Choose an author to research. You may choose any author to research. If you can't think of one, here are some suggestions:

2. Complete the author report by using a database or a website.

3. Read 2-3-4-5 books written by your author. (Talk to your teacher about the number of books you should read.)

4. Fill out a Book Summary and Reading Response during or after your reading for one of the books

5. After reading 2-3-4-5 books by your author, write a recommendation for one or two of the books.

6. Compare and Contrast two books written by the author

7. Write a letter to the author.

- Books (at least 2-3-4-5 by the same author. You can check them out from the library)
