Susan B. Anthony was an American social reformer and women's rights activist who played a pivotal role in the women's suffrage movement. Born into a Quaker family committed to social equality, she collected anti-slavery petitions at the age of 17.

Maya Angelou

Maya Angelou was an American poet, singer, memoirist, and civil rights activist. She published seven autobiographies, three books of essays, several books of poetry, and is credited with a list of plays, movies, and television shows spanning over 50 years.

Nelson Mandela

Nelson Mandela was a South African anti-apartheid revolutionary, political leader, and philanthropist who served as President of South Africa from 1994 to 1999. He was the country's first black head of state and the first elected in a fully representative democratic election.

Malala Yousafzai is a Pakistani activist for female education and the youngest Nobel Prize laureate.

Elizabeth Marie "Betty" TallChief was an American ballerina. She was considered America's first major prima ballerina, and was the first Native American to hold the rank. Almost from birth, TallChief was involved in dance, starting formal lessons at age three.
