Right now, we can't go into school to build robots. We still have class, but our work is now made much harder. We've been meeting over zoom and discussing how to build the robots at home, how to complete our online challenges (something that happens every year), and what the robots will look like. We've discussed building the robots are like an assembly line, where each person builds one part and the robot is then assembled. This will be easiest for us to do at home. As for online challenges, most of them have stayed the same, except for the Promote Video and Photography. In the Promote Video online challenge, students make a short video about their VEX team. There are ways to do this, it just may be harder to get footage. In the Photography online challenge, a student takes a picture of their favorite thing about VEX and explains why that is their favorite. It can still be done, it would just be harder to do and coordinate. Right now, we've only discussed rough designs of what the robots will look like and nothing is final. We'll probably use VEX claws, as their easiest for this years game. That's all for now.
