Carl Leon N7KUW suggested that we identify ham operators at strategic locations to fill gaps in the mesh network and offer to supply node equipment with battery backup.
Carl sees potential in using Starlink to expand Mesh connectivity over greater distances.
Jon N7JWW will submit a draft "Elevator Pitch" to attract more ham operators to the Mesh. John KI7YRA will post it on Google Drive and invite Meshers to improve it. There are a lot of hams in West Seattle who could help with mesh expansion and who are not members of WSARC.
Dan Schueler KE7MTN (Vashon Island) is experimenting with Meshtastic (Part 15 / 915 MHz / GPS / Wifi suport / AES256 encryption) to reach into a broader community. It could be linked to ARDENMesh via routers. Here are some 915MHz antennas on Amazon.
