Unofficial transcripts are emailed to students and families at the end of each semester. If you have difficulty accessing yours, contact Staples registrar, Mrs. Fugitt, in the School Counseling Department office at sfugitt@westportps.org.
If you are a Staples High School graduate or previously attended Staples and are interested in applying to other institution(s) as a transfer student, it is possible that the institution(s) will require an official copy of your high school transcript as part of your application. (Note: official transcripts are sent directly from Staples to the educational institution or organization, not through the individual student.)
In accordance with Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act, we cannot release a transcript without the student's consent and signature. Please note: This request must be made by the student; once a student is 18 years-old, a parent cannot request records on behalf of their child.
To request a transcript, follow the steps below:

In order to determine eligibility, the NCAA requires an official transcript at the end of grade 11 and a final transcript after graduation from Staples. (Note: if you have attended more than one high school, you must request an official transcript separately from each high school.) In order to request a transcript to be sent to the NCAA, complete the NCAA Eligibility Center Transcript Release Form and return to Mrs. Fugitt. When making your request, allow at least two weeks for processing the transcript, plus mailing time.
