About Me

My name is Daniella Gonzalez (she/her) and I’m very excited to be your teacher this year. I look forward to working with you in our Social Studies class and seeing your growth. I anticipate a very productive and successful school year learning about Ancient Civilizations. I am really looking forward to being your teacher!

I graduated from Montclair State University in May 2020 with my BA in History and a P-12 Social Studies teacher certification. I joined the West Orange family in August 2021 after starting off my career as a 6th and 7th-grade teacher in another district. When I am not teaching, I love to cook and play with my dog. I enjoy true crime documentaries and love to read dystopian novels. It is my goal to create a learning environment that is conducive to learning, where students feel safe and comfortable sharing their ideas.
