What is Math 6?
The Math curriculum is aligned to the NJ Student Learning Standards and Mathematical Practices. The standards develop four mathematical strands: Numbers and Operations, Geometry and Measurement, Data Analysis and Probability, and Algebra.
The lessons are generally structured with a launch activity, an explore activity, and then a summary. The summary section of the lesson is where the students summarize what they have learned and take their notes. The student work book and math folder are the most essential components for studying, reviewing and practicing during the school year.
