The mission of the Library Learning Commons is to provide a facility and staff that encourage and help all our patrons to become effective users of information in all its forms as well as to provide quality reading materials to entertain and challenge our patrons.

Our curriculum is designed to introduce the information literacy and 21st Century technology skills students need to be career and college ready. We integrate the American Association of School Libraries (AASL) Standards with the International Society for Technology Education (ISTE Standards) to create dynamic and authentic learning experiences for students.

This curriculum is delivered through a 12-week rotation of scheduled MakerTech classes, as well as through collaborative lessons with the classroom teachers.
